From the enigmatic opening clicks and blurs of xx22, a crunchy rhythm arises, followed by a tantalizing bass and drum groove. Shapeless clouds of grit texturize
the expansive region of 22xx (14:33); the oddly compelling ooze eventually releases a bit of beatiness before lapsing back into oblique ripples.
Buzzy machinery seems to grind through 2x22 (1:52), emitting hazey syncopation then monstrous (vocal?) distortions, which merge into
2x2x to be topped with (then replaced by) serpentine warbles and other mechanical atmosheres. Deep sinuous drones filter through x2xx sounding like a theme for exploraing an Egyptian tomb and finding alien influences. Obtuse, grumbling pulsations churn on assorted levels throughout x22x with hissy steam-engine-like accompaniment.
The shimmery curtains of 2xxx are beaten by a clunky, tribal-esque drum structure. Further electro-primitive beats are applied to the humming airwaves of closing number, xx2x.
